Solicitor - Land & Development - Wiltshire - 5+ Years PQE

Location: Wiltshire (flexibility across other office locations)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)

A fantastic opportunity for a Land & Development Solicitor with ideally 5+ years' post qualification experience (slightly less considered) to join a well established Land & Development team in Wiltshire. This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload, contribute to the growth of the department, and work within a supportive, forward thinking environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of land and development matters, including:

  • Site acquisitions and finance arrangements
  • Option agreements, promotion agreements, and overage deeds
  • Agricultural property work (if of interest)
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supervising a two year qualified solicitor within the team
  • Supporting business development through networking and marketing activities
  • Raising the profile of the Land & Development Department
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in land & development work
  • Ideally 5+ years PQE (less considered)
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing matters independently and supervising junior colleagues
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
  • Professional presentation and flexibility in approach
