QUALIFICATIONS
- Be a qualified Solicitor entitled to practice in Northern Ireland and hold a practising certificate issued by the Law Society of NI or be in a position to do so by 1 November 2025.
- Hold a bachelor's degree (UK Qualification and Credit Framework Level 6) or an equivalent or higher qualification
EXPERIENCE
(a) within the last five years a minimum of three years' demonstrable post qualification experience within a dedicated property law department; and
(b) during the entirety of this three year period have had significant involvement (i.e. over 75% of own caseload) in advising and representing clients in a broad range of commercial property matters (including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals of land, commercial leases, licence agreements, etc.).

OTHER
- Demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development to ensure competence to practice as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland
- The successful candidate will be required:
to have access to a suitable vehicle (appropriately maintained and insured for Education Authority business) that will enable them to carry out the mobility requirements of the post in an efficient and effective manner and thus meet this essential criterion
OR
be able to provide sufficient information on the application form that will satisfy the employer that he/she has access to an appropriate alternative form of transport that will enable them to carry out the mobility requirements of the post in an efficient and effective manner and thus meet this essential criterion.
