In the role of the Reliability Engineer, you will work with our experienced and international Component Engineering team.

About the role
  • Provide engineering support during project development, construction and operations for Offshore wind turbine assets in Europe and APAC
  • Based on Asset operational experience, calculate instantaneous and cumulative failure rate, mean time between failure, beta values, failure distributions and failure forecast for Wind turbine sub systems/components
  • Continuously improve our internal WTG components prediction failure model for Site Operation MTP and Finance Department, New Assets and support Technical Due Diligence of upcoming WTG platforms/models
  • Support service maintenance optimisation initiatives, spare parts and logistics optimisation initiatives
  • Collect and analyse information from the WTG OEMs, technical due diligences, project conditions, component specialists and operational experience
  • Identification, resolution and mitigation of technical/HSSE issues including root cause analysis, EOW claims and assess risks/opportunities for adding value to the business
Job requirements and experience
  • Industrial Engineering BEng or equivalent with relevant experience
  • Experience in Wind Turbine Generation (WTG) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
  • Extensive background in reliability and lifetime forecasting of WTG systems, including several years spent in maintenance and service roles within the industry
  • Significant experience in liaising with the array of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in communicating effectively, negotiating well, and inspiring collaboration
  • Will have a stakeholder centric mind set and be committed to ensuring high levels of stakeholder satisfaction
  • A thorough knowledge of engineering regulations and standards
  • Willing to travel around European sites
  • English language skills - business fluent
Advantageous, but not essential
  • MSc Reliability Engineering and Asset Management
  • Other languages: German, Spanish, French, Italian
