Job Description
  • Manage the UK Talent Acquisition team of 12
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to meet organisational needs.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing requirements and create job descriptions.
  • Build a strong employer brand to attract top talent within the energy & natural resources sector.
  • Oversee applicant tracking systems and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Analyse recruitment metrics to optimise hiring processes and improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices for talent acquisition.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition should have:

  • Significant experience in leading talent acquisition function, with recent experience in a UK-based leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing high-volume and specialised recruitment across engineering, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with UK employment law as it applies to recruitment and selection.
  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation.
  • Proficient in using ATS and recruitment tools; comfortable with data and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
