The role

  • Lead High-Impact Programmes: Drive the successful delivery of complex, multi-year programmes that span geographies, business units, and strategic priorities.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all projects and programmes are aligned with LR's corporate strategy, transformation roadmap, and business objectives.
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and collaborate with senior leaders, including C-suite stakeholders, to ensure programme success and strategic buy-in.
  • Governance & Assurance: Establish and maintain robust governance structures, reporting frameworks, and risk management practices across all programme activities.
  • Mentor & Lead: Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers and cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture and building delivery capability across the function.
  • Change Leadership: Partner with Change Managers to lead the people side of change, ensuring adoption, engagement, and long-term value realization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of programme and portfolio management practices, tools, and standards across Lloyd's Register.

What you bring

  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in project and programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex, global initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, and change delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align delivery with strategic business outcomes.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, MSP, or AgilePM are highly desirable.
