Senior Procurement Consultant - Procurement & Contract Advisory
Location: Anywhere in UK
Our client is seeking Senior Procurement Consultants to support major programmes across infrastructure, defence, energy and other complex sectors. Successful candidates will contribute to strategic procurement delivery while developing deeper expertise and progressing quickly within a growing consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of strategic procurement services across major programmes and projects.
- Manage elements of end-to-end procurement including tender development, evaluation, negotiation and award.
- Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and category plans.
- Engage confidently with client and supplier stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality documentation, analysis and reporting.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve successful outcomes.
- Support business development activity including proposals and service development.
- Contribute to team delivery targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience delivering or supporting procurement activity on large or complex programmes in infrastructure, defence, energy or similar sectors.
- Strong understanding of tendering, evaluation and supplier engagement processes.
- Ability to contribute to procurement strategies and commercial principles.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills with confidence working across clients and suppliers.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator able to produce clear, high-quality outputs.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, adaptable approach.
- Interest in professional development, including working towards procurement qualifications.
- Security Clearance (SC) is advantageous, though not required
