Senior Legal Counsel - Dublin, Ireland

Overview

We have partnered exclusively with a global leader in the transformational technology sector to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel to join their EMEA Legal team in Dublin. This high-impact position will play a key role in supporting the company's expanding regional operations, acting as a trusted advisor to the Sales organisation and enabling commercial growth across European markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to EMEA Sales teams, delivering practical, business-oriented solutions to complex commercial challenges.
• Lead negotiations for a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and SOWs.
• Advise on AI technology-related transactions, with a focus on data rights, IP ownership, and algorithmic governance.
• Implement efficient legal processes that balance risk mitigation with business enablement.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify and remove barriers to growth.
• Collaborate with global legal and compliance teams to design customer-centric legal solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland (dual qualification in England & Wales advantageous).
• 6-8 years' PQE in commercial or corporate law within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end commercial contract negotiations.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of EU data protection, privacy and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and influence business decision-making.
• Collaborative, commercially astute and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
