This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *managing accounting and reporting activities under US GAAP*.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting and reporting activities under US GAAP. You'll handle multiple country ledgers or corporate accounts, ensure compliance, and support audits. The role also includes mentoring junior accountants.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate ledgers, reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities.

• Ensure compliance with SOX, tax, and audit requirements.

• Support audits and process improvements.

• Guide and coach accountants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CRA, or CPA).

• 3-5 years of accounting experience under US GAAP.

• Strong Excel and ERP system skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Able to manage multiple priorities independently.
