Job Description

We are pleased to offer a salaried GP position at our welcoming, patient centred practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or established GP to join a supportive and forward thinking team committed to delivering high quality primary care.

Main duties of the job
  • Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations (face to face and telephone as clinically appropriate)
  • Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
  • Provide appropriate prescribing, investigations, and referrals
  • Ensure safe and effective clinical decision making and safety netting
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activities
Job responsibilities

We are looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly team for approximately 4 sessions, however, this is negotiable for the right candidate. Salary will be negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications and Person Specification
  • GMC registered general practitioner
  • Inclusion on the NHSE medical performers list
  • Good clinical and consultation skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload independently
  • Commitment to high quality, patient focused care
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in duty/urgent care clinics
  • Previous experience in UK general practice
  • Interest in developing clinical or service areas within the practice
  • Familiarity with SystmOne
