The Children, Young People and Family Health Services Directorate has a number of exciting opportunities for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us to support reception and administration duties.

The successful applicant should have a proactive and friendly attitude and be able to demonstrate administrative and receptionist experience. Excellent customer service skills and experience are essential for these roles.

It is important that you are an excellent communicator with experience of working in a busy environment. Applicants will be expected to be organised and efficient and have the ability to prioritise requests and to deal with conflicting demands. A high level of attention to detail supported by relevant ICT skills is essential and proven skills and experience of providing previous administrative and reception support to large teams.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive reception, clerical and administration support service to identified services within the Children, Young People and Family Health Services directorate. This will include dealing with queries from service users, inputting and updating data relating to children, young people and families (CYP & F) and working with clinicians and partners for effective service delivery.

The post holder will be the initial point of contact for both staff and the general public, ensuring the security and safety of the service's reception areas.

The post holder will be responsible for welcoming clients and visitors to the service, including booking them in on the electronic patient record system.

The post holder will also be an integral member of the administration team, supporting the manager and the administrative function as required.

The post holder will project a professional image of the business through demonstrating excellent customer care in all activities and will also provide support to a variety of members of staff (both clinical and non clinical) working within the base.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
