Are you an experienced Civil Engineer ready to lead exciting projects and take your career to the next level? A leading Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy in Fareham, Hampshire is looking for a driven Principal Civil Engineer to join their expanding team. This is your chance to lead diverse development projects while mentoring junior engineers and influencing project delivery.
The RoleYou will take ownership of drainage, SuDS, and highways (S278/S38) projects from design through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage project resources, liaise with clients, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
About YouDegree or HND in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years' consultancy experience
Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards
Strong drainage design experience, including SuDS
Proficient in AutoCAD, Site 3D, and software such as InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, or MicroDrainage
Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and client relationships
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
S278/S38 highway design experience
Previous line management or team leadership
Business development experience
