DePuy Synthes in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland is looking for a Payroll DS Manager. The role is responsible for end to end delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services for a defined group of countries.
Responsibilities- Payroll Operations & Service Delivery: manage payroll delivery, approvals, reconciliations, accounting entries and statutory remittances; ensure audit readiness and support audits.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: build relationships with stakeholders, act as escalation point, manage vendor performance and SLA adherence.
- People Leadership & Talent Management: lead a matrixed team of supervisors and contributors; hire, coach, and develop staff; promote inclusive culture.
- Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: lead payroll related projects, improve processes, drive automation and standardization; partner on system implementations.
- Other duties as assigned by Global or Regional Leadership.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll, HR or finance operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a management or people leader role.
- Strong experience managing multi country payroll operations.
- Proven experience with payroll controls, compliance, audits and statutory requirements.
- Ability to lead teams through change in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
- Adaptable, able to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with knowledge management systems and compliance requirements such as SOX.
- Preferred certifications: payroll, project management, analytics, Lean Six Sigma and/or Design Thinking.
- Base pay range €70,100.00 - €121,210.00.
- Annual bonus with set target based on pay grade and location.
