The Post: The purpose of this role is to deliver an accurate and comprehensive payments service to all Primary Care contractors and all other parties in line with financial regulations and legislation, providing assurance around probity and quality and that activity is properly monitored.

The Candidates:

The postholder will assist the Pharmacy PV/Payments Lead. The postholder will be self-motivated, numerate, empathetic, able to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner, a team player with the ability to work independently and use own initiative.

The postholder should be educated to HNC/HND level with experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of NHS Systems, e-Financials (eFin) and Finance Process Manager (FPM) would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Location and Working Pattern:

Based in our offices in either Edinburgh, Gyle Square or Glasgow, Delta House. Currently hybrid working.

Work pattern Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
