Job Description

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a warehousing and logistics company on the appointment of a Warehouse Supervisor (Nightshift) on a full-time permanent basis. This position is also suitable for warehouse supervisors who are looking for their next step upwards in their career.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for driving operational performance across the warehouse, ensuring daily activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. The role plays a key part in leading and motivating the warehouse team, maintaining productivity levels, and ensuring service delivery targets are consistently achieved.

  • Monday to Friday / 17:00 - 02:00 (flexibility may be required).
  • Salary: Up to €57,000 per annum (excellent starting salary).
Duties
  • Drive warehouse performance against operational KPIs, productivity targets, and service level agreements.
  • Lead, motivate, and support warehouse associates to maintain high performance and team morale.
  • Oversee the day to day warehouse operation, ensuring all activities are completed safely, accurately, and within agreed time frames.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, removing obstacles that impact productivity and efficiency.
  • Challenge under performance and promote high standards of behaviour, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Ensure all stock movements, bookings, vehicle movements, and operational tasks are accurately processed and updated across systems.
  • Monitor stock accuracy and promptly escalates any discrepancies relating to receipts, orders, or inventory movements.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and health & safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily team briefings covering shift performance, operational priorities, safety updates, and business communications.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to manage operational issues, delays, and solutions.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and overall operational performance.
  • Support a positive and collaborative working environment focused on achieving operational and customer service goals.
Criteria
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or associate management role, including directing teams and building strong working relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence others.
  • Experience in process management, including coordinating and prioritising multiple operational tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and drive performance improvements where required.
