Job Description
Overview

An amazing opportunity to join our 5 Star Luxury Hotel, The May Fair Hotel as a Night Receptionist. The hours for this role are based on 12 shifts on a 4 days on 3 days off rota basis.

  • As a Night Receptionist you will be responsible for night reception and lobby hosting ensuring a smooth guest experience at night.
  • You will handle all aspects of the guest journey from check in and out, rooming and helping with luggage where necessary.
  • Greets all guests in a pleasant manner.
  • Handles cash payments and float in accordance with the company standards.
  • Responds to all guest communication professionally ensuring personalisation and customisation to ensure a high level of service excellence.
  • Assists with the daily completion of administration tasks within the department.
  • Ensures that all guest needs and requirements are fulfilled during their stay and they are made to feel as valued guests.
  • Promotes amenities and food and beverage outlets and arranges in house amenities as and when required.
  • Gathers information about guests in order to update our database to make proactive use of guest details to provide a truly personal service.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is delivered at all times in line with our core values and standards, exceeding guest expectations.
About You
  • Previous hotel reception experience is required ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel operation.
  • Previous experience of IT applications including Opera, Office 365, Guest Plus.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Impeccable command of English both written and spoken.
