ResponsibilitiesYou will join a well-established highly skilled and motivated team of like minded Engineers taking on challenges, sharing knowledge and developing your own internal skill set.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed and carried out correctly (LOTO).
- Root cause analysis/fault finding on a diverse range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Carrying out efficient, effective, and safe repairs to machinery/plant to maximise uptime.
- Offering solutions on ways to improve downtime and also improve health and safety on and around machinery/plant.
- Working in a team environment and is also capable of working independently.
- You will be part of a team which drives PM activity that results in downtime reduction.
Qualifications:
- Certified mechanical engineer qualifications
- Full apprenticeship or suitable experience in a similar role/environment.
- ISOH/HSE or IPAF training preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or similar.
- Have an understanding & knowledge of PLC and HMI instrumentation.
- Fabrication skills will be an advantage
- Some Lathe and Milling work needed (basic/intermediate level).
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
