IT and Security Manager

Location: London (E1)
Hybrid working as standard: 2 days a week in the office, the other 3 days remote (or office if you prefer)
The role balances hands on IT operations with information security, protecting data while keeping teams productive.
We think this role will suit you if you enjoy practical problem solving and maintaining high standards but likely won't suit you if you're seeking purely strategic or highly specialised technical work.

- We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution
- Like all scale-ups it's been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we're now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350+ Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission!
- Leading ISO compliance activities, audits and security documentation.
- Developing and delivering security awareness training and guidance to staff.
- Leading the response to all internal IT and corporate security incidents.
- Managing security reviews and compliance for all third party vendors.
- Handling external security audit requests and customer due diligence.
- Managing employee hardware procurement, deployment and security. We have a mixture of devices including Chromebooks, Windows, Linux and Mac.
- You have hands on experience managing corporate IT infrastructure and security.
- You have experience developing security policies and conducting company wide security training.
- You have maintained ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks previously.
- You are proficient in the management and administration of Google workspace.
- You can manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external auditors.
- You are comfortable balancing operational IT support with strategic security work.
- You are pragmatic about security, protecting the business without hindering productivity.
