Job Title: Head of Programme Delivery Department: Impact Academy Reports to: MD Impact Academy Location: Aligned to one of FI Group's regional centres, with an expectation to attend the London office 3 4 days per month.

About Impact AcademyImpact Academy represents First Intuition's strategic expansion into professional skills development beyond technical accountancy training. We're launching an enhanced solution that will deliver enhanced Impact Skills Programmes and commercial skills development to both existing FI clients and other organisations. Role PurposeThe Head of Programme Delivery will be responsible for establishing and leading delivery excellence across Impact Academy's multi-regional operations. You will ensure consistently outstanding programme delivery across all channels whilst building the capability, capacity and standards needed to scale the business. This role combines strategic leadership with hands on operational excellence, requiring someone who can design scalable delivery systems, implement Train the Trainer programmes, and inspire facilitators across multiple regions to achieve exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Delivery Excellence & Quality Assurance (35%)- Establish delivery standards and quality frameworks that consistently exceed client expectations
- Develop and implement quality monitoring systems across all programme types and delivery channels
- Create comprehensive facilitator performance management and development programmes
- Design client feedback systems and implement continuous improvement processes
- Ensure all delivery meets Ofsted standards and apprenticeship requirements
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and quality assurance organisations
- Recruit, train and manage a team of high calibre programme facilitators
- Design and deliver facilitator training programmes for both new hires and existing FI regional staff
- Implement Train the Trainer programmes to enable FI regional teams to deliver Impact Academy programmes
- Create facilitator certification and progression pathways
- Establish performance standards and conduct regular performance reviews
- Build a culture of excellence, innovation and continuous professional development
- Oversee day to day programme delivery across multiple locations and delivery modes (face to face, virtual, hybrid)
- Manage delivery scheduling, resource allocation and capacity planning
- Coordinate with FI regional teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration
- Implement delivery technology platforms and ensure optimal utilisation
- Manage delivery budgets and ensure efficient resource utilisation
- Develop contingency plans for delivery disruptions and quality issues
- Collaborate with Curriculum Design Lead to ensure programmes are practical and deliverable
- Work with commercial teams to understand client requirements and delivery preferences
- Coordinate with Group Education team and senior stakeholders to align delivery standards across all programmes
- Ensure all delivery approaches meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements in coordination with Group Quality and Compliance teams
- Develop delivery capability for new market segments and geographical expansion
- Design scalable delivery models that support business growth objectives
- Contribute to strategic planning for faculty expansion and capability development
- Represent Impact Academy at industry events and with key stakeholders
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Education, Business, or Training; teaching certification preferred.
- Strong foundation in adult learning and professional development, with experience in corporate training or adult education.
- Senior level experience in training delivery and faculty leadership, including managing quality across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with apprenticeships, regulated training, and tailoring programs to corporate client needs.
- Proven leadership in managing diverse teams and developing high performing training professionals.
- Skilled in quality assurance, performance management, and strategic planning to support scalable growth.
- Experienced in change management and operational scaling.
- Proficient in modern training delivery, including virtual platforms, blended learning, and facilitation techniques.
- Strong grasp of assessment, quality assurance, and data driven performance monitoring.
- Skilled in LMS platforms, training technology, and complex project scheduling.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Inspirational and resilient leader, adaptable in dynamic environments and focused on excellence.
- Commercially aware with a client focused mindset and strategic understanding of business goals.
- Committed to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Experience in the accountancy, finance or professional services training sectors.
- Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and apprenticeship delivery standards.
- Experience with Train the Trainer programme development and delivery.
- Understanding of the corporate L&D market and procurement processes.
- Track record of scaling delivery operations in growing businesses.
- Professional membership of relevant bodies (CIPD, etc.).
