Lead global, purpose led partnerships that link income with impact at Christian Aid.

About the roleAs Head of Partnerships & Impact Funding, you will lead and inspire a high performing team to transform and grow Christian Aid's income and impact from philanthropists, trusts and foundations, the private sector, government and multilaterals. You'll set a clear strategy that links income to impact, strengthen collaboration across the organisation and empower regional leaders to make timely, confident decisions.
Key responsibilities- Provide ambitious, values led leadership to a team of expert fundraisers; build a culture of innovation, learning and trust.
- Deliver step change growth through strategic, purpose driven partnerships that create long term value beyond transactional funding.
- Champion convening and connection so Christian Aid is "known" and influential in priority markets, including UK and North America.
- Partner closely with country Heads of Impact to align propositions with programme outcomes and empower in country decision making.
- Establish robust pipeline, financial and contract management, with clear reporting to directors and the Board.
This UK based role has a global remit and reports to the Director of Income & Public Engagement. International travel will be required.
Who we are looking forYou're a strategic, values centred leader who sees the whole picture, linking income and impact with clarity and purpose. You bring confidence working across diverse income streams and geographies, ideally within INGOs or similarly complex, mission driven environments. We also welcome exceptional relationship leaders from the private sector who can translate best in class partnership practice to a global charity context.
You will offer- A track record of multi million pound results with philanthropists, trusts & foundations (including international), business and institutions.
- Outstanding team leadership across multiple global locations; you listen, collaborate, delegate with confidence and develop others.
- Commercial mindset with integrity; strategic thinker who innovates, challenges orthodoxies and prioritises sustainable, long term value.
- Deep understanding of international development funding models and complex programming; credible with senior external partners.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stewardship skills; comfortable with boards and public speaking.
