This is a unique opportunity to shape logistics operations from the ground up, combining manufacturing, construction, and transport in one of the most exciting sectors-new nuclear.Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will design and deliver a logistics strategy that supports end-to-end operations across warehousing, distribution, freight, and on-site logistics. You'll ensure seamless integration with engineering, construction, and manufacturing, while maintaining compliance with environmental, trade, and safety regulations. What You'll Do Develop and implement a global logistics delivery strategy, covering transportation, inventory management, and demand fulfilment. Lead physical logistics solution design across suppliers, manufacturing, and power plant construction. Manage supplier contracts and global logistics provider engagement, including commercial agreements. Oversee inventory strategy, part data control, and performance reporting. Act as the first point of contact for customer interactions and solution generation. Lead a team of up to 25 and manage budgets of approximately £100M per annum. What We're Looking For Proven leadership in logistics or supply chain strategy, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or major projects. Experience managing large budgets (£100M+) and leading sizeable teams (25+). Strong stakeholder management skills, including board-level and customer-facing experience. Expertise in global logistics operations, including freight solutions, warehousing, and supplier planning. Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) with continuous professional development. Infrastructure/construction and manufacturing experience highly desirable. Be part of a ground-breaking programme at the forefront of clean energy. Pay And Benefits We anticipate paying a salary of between £85,000 - £105,000 DOE plus:- Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 30% Benefits Allowance - £8,500 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
