Job Description

Join our global Programme Management Organization (PMO) and take a key leadership role in driving customer excellence and strategic growth. As Global Lead Programme Manager based on site at our Headquarters in Kaiseraugst, you'll lead a team of experienced Programme Managers, shaping how we deliver value to our international clients across the life sciences industry.

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a global team of Programme Managers - fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
  • Oversee customer account allocation and ensure balanced workload distribution and high-quality delivery across the team
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders, resolving issues quickly and effectively
  • Drive excellence in project and programme execution through adherence to best practices, data integrity, and client engagement principles
  • Champion customer centricity, ensuring a consistently positive client experience across all touchpoints
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness within the PMO
  • Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Analytical Study Management to strengthen customer relationships and grow accounts
  • Host client visits and audits, representing the company's scientific and operational capabilities with confidence and professionalism
  • Support strategic business transformation initiatives and contribute to shaping the future direction of the PMO

You are an experienced leader with a strong scientific foundation and a passion for customer success. You bring:

  • A degree in Life Sciences (PhD, MSc, or BSc) - PMP certification is an advantage10+ years of relevant experience in the life science, CRO/CDMO, or GMP-regulated environment
  • Proven success in managing complex, multi-site programmes and customer portfolios
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship management expertise at executive level
  • Demonstrated leadership and line management experience (8+ years managing a global team), including performance management and team development
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage in strategic and challenging discussions
  • High commercial acumen and a strong understanding of project and business dynamics
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset - able to balance strategy with hands-on delivery
  • A collaborative leadership style, fostering trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement
