The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, you will be instrumental in building a sophisticated world-class global finance function from the ground up in a rapidly growing scaleup. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health and strategy of our global business. You'll not only manage financial operations but also be a key advisor on growth strategies, partnering with multiple teams across the business to ensure financial alignment with our global goals. You'll thrive in this role if you're detail-oriented, highly analytical, and comfortable leading and executing in a high-growth environment.

The Role

The business is led by a world-class founding team comprising multiple exited founders and experienced top-tier corporate executives. We're looking for a candidate who is technically strong but also commercially minded and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

This is a hands-on role, spanning the full spectrum of finance: from establishing financial reporting processes, managing cashflow and treasury, supporting capital raising processes (debt & equity) and informing strategic decision-making. This role will be a true strategic partner to the CFO, helping to drive profitability and long-term value for the business.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting functions
• Establish global treasury and cash flow forecasts, optimizing liquidity, managing risk, and ensuring financial resources are effectively utilized to support growth.
• Support the CFO in developing and executing financial strategies that support business objectives, including profitability, cost management and expansion.

• Assist the CFO in managing relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders to support funding opportunities.
• Drive financial outcomes including profitability and sustainable growth, reporting to key stakeholders
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to guide company expansion, both geographically and in new channels and service offerings.

The Role What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in finance roles, preferably in high-growth or global companies.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA trained, Top 20 background ideal)
• Deep understanding of financial management, including tax, compliance, risk management, and international financial regulations
• Direct experience with building financial models, FP&A processes, and cash flow management.
• Experience with fundraising and M&A is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and external partners.
• A passion for innovation and a mindset focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Location

The role will be based in London (minimum 4 days a week in our Central London office) supporting the global finance function across our operations in the USA, Australia, UK, and Canada.
