Job Description
About the role
Title: Finance Officer
Hourly pay: £18 - £23 an hour + accrued holiday pay
Location: A short walk from Russell Square station
Pattern of work: Hybrid 2 days per week in our London office
Contract: Temporary 35 hours a week
As Finance Officer, you ll support day-to-day transactions, ensuring accurate records, and helping colleagues with finance queries.
What you ll be doing
• Managing finance enquiries and inboxes, ensuring quick, helpful responses
• Processing sales and purchase invoices, credit notes and payments
• Supporting bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Assisting with audits and month-end deadlines
• Helping to improve finance processes and systems
About you
• Confident with numbers and technology
• Knowledge of debits vs credits and double entry bookkeeping
• Prior working knowledge of Business Central is highly preferred
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Committed to accuracy and great customer service
