About the role

The Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR) is an agricultural research facility supporting large animal research, operating across a 580 hectare farm with approximately 550 Holstein dairy cows. This role involves servicing and repairing farm and research machinery, and managing workshop facilities at the CEDAR site.

Responsibilities

Service and repair of farm and research machinery. Manage workshop facilities at the CEDAR site.

Qualifications
  • An Agricultural Engineering qualification at NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher.
  • Excellent knowledge of agricultural practices and systems.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work.
  • The ability to use initiative and solve problems effectively.
