Overview

Duties and Responsibilities- The Project Engineer will lead and support the planning, coordination, and execution of facilities, safety, and utility infrastructure upgrade projects across the site.
- Working cross functionally with other departments on site such as EHS, Warehouse etc.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, improving operational resilience, and managing contractors and internal stakeholders through all project phases.
- Plan and manage facilities and safety upgrade projects across operational and support buildings.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to define project scope, deliverables, and schedules.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and milestones for utility-related infrastructure and safety system upgrades.
- Co-ordinate the install and testing team on improvement and upgrade projects.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely related discipline; Level 8 NFQ or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a project engineering, facilities, or utilities role within a regulated or industrial environment
- Proven hands-on experience with facilities and utility systems
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and external contractors.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
