ECC Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Cheshire
Role: Inpatient & Emergency Vet (Daytime Role)
Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE

I'm working with a leading small animal hospital in Ellesmere Port who are looking to expand their A&E and inpatient team with an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon.

This is an ideal opportunity for a vet who thrives in a fast-paced, clinically challenging environment but prefers a day-based ECC role. You'll play a key part in managing inpatients and emergency cases, ensuring continuity of care and excellent communication between the clinical team, clients, and referring vets.

The Role

• Oversee inpatient care and handle emergency cases coming through the A&E service
• Manage a varied and medically focused caseload
• Perform emergency procedures and coordinate treatment with a skilled nursing and veterinary team
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure a smooth workflow within the hospital

You'll be supported by an experienced ECC and inpatient team that works collaboratively across departments, ensuring patients receive round the clock care and attention.

What We're Looking For

• Confident small animal vet with strong medical and emergency skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Calm under pressure and able to handle fast paced clinical environments
• Organised, reliable, and client focused
• Ideally some ECC or inpatient experience, or a genuine interest in developing in this area

Rota

• 39 hours per week
• 1 in 3 weekends
• 3 week rolling rota including a mix of 9- and 11 hour shifts
