Director, Systems Engineering page is loaded Director, Systems Engineeringlocations: Bracknell, United Kingdomtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-101234Director, Systems Engineering Responsibilities: Lead and drive all activities for our Sales Engineering team Partner closely with sales management to meet the company's business objectives and ensure the successful sale and deployment of company solutions across all vertical industries and customers Recruit, develop, improve, and maintain the Sales Engineering organization and processes to successfully meet and exceed the company's sales goals Plan and manage the team resources, ensuring they are efficiently deployed to support a broad range of customer and partner needs Understand and communicate technical issues and/or enhancement requests from customers back to technical support, product management and Engineering Perform strategic win/loss analysis to optimize sales execution and drive product improvements Provide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirements Work with stakeholders to align Sales Engineering with A10 Networks strategic vision Apply sales skills along with technical knowledge to effectively close sales Ensure the Systems Engineering team is enabled to support all required A10 Networks products and solutions along with required sales/soft skills Provide technical leadership and knowledge to the sales organization Proactively engage with Sales Leadership to create close alignment and develop technical tools/programs to support sales campaigns and initiatives Requirements: BS in computer related field or equivalent industry experience outside of management Minimum five (5) + years Sales Engineer Management or technical leadership experience Demonstrates the characteristics of a technical leader Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of business leaders and audience sizes Ability to travel up to 75% of the time for customer meetings, tradeshows, and internal business meetings Experience with Salesforce To be successful, you'll need: An ability to work in a fast-paced environment To be a systems thinker who plans strategically while delivering tactical results A highly collaborative, customer and channel focus Strong oral and written communications skills Strong leadership skills; ability to influence across a highly technical community of SEs Must exhibit solid critical thinking and decision-making abilities that result in daily impact on sales Ability to build influential relationships with customers, channels, and internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Engineering Understanding of Udemy
