We are seeking an experienced, agile Director of Sales to manage our Mid-Market Inside Sales teams across Italy, Spain, and Portugal. You will own revenue growth by setting and delivering on long term sales goals while building a culture of high performance, empathy, motivation, and collaboration.

In this role, you will oversee, hire, and develop a high performing team of Sales Executives, driving consistent target achievement while fostering a collaborative, growth oriented environment. You will oversee the end to end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to positioning Indeed's products and closing, with a focus on both new business expansion and upsell opportunities within existing accounts. Using data driven insights, you will refine sales strategies, track performance, and communicate results, market trends, and competitive dynamics to senior leadership. You will also ensure adherence to sales processes and policies while translating business priorities into clear execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Inspire and motivate the Sales Executive to achieve their sales targets and deliver exceptional results. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and growth.
  • You will hire, manage, and develop a team of Sales Executives, and direct the sales process, including prospect targeting, qualifying, and positioning of Indeed products and services
  • Drive new business generation and up selling of existing advertisers.
  • Utilize data driven insights to make informed choices and enhance sales strategies. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Adhere to sales business rules, practices, and policies for sales territories.
Who we are
  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
  • Demonstrated sales leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop diverse, high performing teams.
  • Fluency in Italian, Spanish, and English, with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset, using data and insights to inform decisions and support long term sales goals.
  • Experience leading strategic client discussions, including C level engagements, with excellent relationship building capabilities.
  • Effective at cross functional collaboration, with excellent business acumen and a strategic mindset to contribute to broader company growth.
  • This is a Flex role, with in office presence in Dublin on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, and experience. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region specific benefits. Compensation may also vary based on where a role is performed, as work locations are grouped into geographic pay tiers to reflect cost of labor differences in different geographic markets. Candidates can view geographic pay tiers by location on our career site , and recruiters can confirm how location is considered for a specific role.

Salary Range Transparency

Tier 2 - Ireland 65,000 - 97,000 EUR per year

The OTE (On-Target Earning) - including quarterly bonuses - is 145,000 - 177,000 EUR per year
