The Director, Third Party Risk Management Program (BPO) provides strategic leadership and enablement of an enterprise wide third party risk management (TPRM) program. The role focuses on mitigating anti bribery, anti corruption risks in third party intermediary engagements and serves as the Business Process Owner (BPO) for TPRM. The Director works closely with Compliance, Legal, IT, Procurement and other stakeholders to define program requirements, implement technology solutions and continuously improve global processes and tools. This position reports to the Senior Director HCC Risk Management Strategy & Enablement.

Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and governance for the global TPRM program as the BPO, establishing policies, procedures and oversight structures.
- Set global standards and drive consistency across all regions while accommodating local regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a risk based segmentation and assessment framework for third parties, ensuring each intermediary is categorized by risk level.
- Oversee robust pre engagement due diligence processes to identify potential anti corruption red flags or compliance issues before onboarding new third party intermediaries.
- Partner with Legal to provide contractual safeguards (e.g., compliance clauses, audit rights).
- Collaborate with IT and digital teams to define requirements and implement technology solutions (e.g., third party lifecycle management platforms, due diligence tools, automated workflow systems).
- Continuously evaluate new tools and drive enhancements to keep the program current with best practices and evolving risks.
- Drive development of data analytics and reporting capabilities to continuously measure and improve the TPRM program.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Experience: 10-12+ years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit or related fields.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations and enforcement practices.
- Skills: Proven ability to influence senior leaders, develop and implement processes and systems to support risk management programs, strong analytical and decision making capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication, change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Preferred: Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or broader life sciences industries; experience operating in highly matrixed, multicultural organizations.
- Language: Fluency in English required.
- Travel: Up to 20-30%.
- Certifications: Compliance, legal or ethics certifications preferred but not required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is €104,000.00 - €179,515.00. In addition to base pay, the compensation package includes an annual bonus based on target percentages of pay, vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health, service anniversary and recognition awards, and participation in insurance plans where applicable.
