Our client, a well-established multi-franchise car dealer group operating across Southwest England, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join their respected Salisbury dealership. Duties

• Carry out advanced diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Support and mentor the workshop team, sharing technical expertise to resolve complex vehicle issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles leave the workshop in optimal condition and perform at their best.
• Maintain safety standards, quality control, and overall workshop performance.
• Contribute to the ongoing training and development of team members.
• Support workshop efficiency through effective diagnosis, repairs, and technical advice.

Requirements

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Diagnostic Technician, with a strong track record in diagnostics and complex repairs.
• Strong technical knowledge, ideally at a Master Vehicle Technician level.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Motivated, committed, and able to produce high quality work in a busy dealership environment.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to work well within a team.
• Experience working with premium cars or holding an active MOT Smart Card is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30/5:00 pm (depending on lunch break preferences).
• One in three Saturdays, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
