Commissioning Engineer - Reading

Job Description

A well regarded company known for providing excellent water treatment and commissioning services to a national client base is currently recruiting for an experienced and multi skilled Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Reading area. The successful applicant will come from a strong commissioning background and will be experienced in carrying out equipment calibration duties as well as inspecting and balancing air and water systems on various site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Maidenhead, Bracknell, Newbury and the surrounding areas.

Requisites

• Good working knowledge of the BSRIA guidelines (desirable)
• Considerable experience in balancing air and water systems
• Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports to commission systems correctly
• Background in water treatment, technical, chemical, and maintenance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Well versed with the water treatment industry
• Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role (essential)

Key Role Responsibilities

• Commissioning air and water systems
• Calibrating equipment to balance water systems accurately
• Adhering to relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
• Carrying out service work strictly as per client specifications
• Conducting staff training as required
• Inspecting project installations as needed
• Producing reports and preparing quotations
• Undertaking other water treatment duties as necessary
• Liaising with clients regularly to build and maintain rapport

The successful candidate will be focused, committed, flexible, and have good work ethics, completing work within timelines. Must be flexible with regard to travelling.
