Job Description
Cleaning Operative

Salary: £26,205 - £26,525 (pro rata for part time and sessional). Hours: 12.5 per week, 38 weeks sessional.

Monday - Friday 5pm - 7:30pm.

As a cleaner with the City of Edinburgh Council, you will be a key member of the Facilities Management team, delivering a vital cleaning service across our estate to ensure properties are safe and clean places to work or learn.

Pre Employment Requirements

This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will also be required.
