Skills and attributes- Proficiency in the English language
- FETAC/QQI level 5 in Healthcare
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence and requirement to drive service vehicles

Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person-centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.
CARE ASSISTANT- Minimum of Fully Completed FETAC/QQI level 5 in Healthcare qualification or (higher) equivalent comparable qualification.
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence and requirement to drive service vehicles.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Desire to support people to live their best lives and commitment to promotin the active engagement and participation of Service Users in their local communities.
- Experience working within the area of intellectual disability and of working with people who have a diagnosis of Autism and behaviours of concern.
- Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
