About The Role
Call for Experts - Short-Term Technical Assistance: Climate Innovation Pull Facility
Chemonics UK is seeking to expand its network of Technical Consultants with expertise in climate innovation for an upcoming programme funded by the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). The initiative-the Climate Innovation Pull Facility (CIPF)-aims to pilot innovative pull financing mechanisms in developing countries to accelerate the deployment of clean technologies that support national Net Zero targets.
Programme Overview
The CIPF is a flagship initiative under the Ayrton Fund, led by DESNZ. It is designed to advance climate change mitigation solutions by incentivising their uptake in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), with a particular focus on lower-middle-income economies. The programme supports the development and scaling of technologies to a point where they are viable for broader market integration and long-term sustainability.
