Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Bordereaux Management
- Receive, review, and process incoming bordereaux from Coverholders and TPAs in accordance with binding authority agreements.
- Ensure data quality and compliance with Lloyd's Coverholder reporting standards.
- Maintain bordereaux schedules and ensure timely upload into internal systems.
Data Validation and Upload
- Cleanse, map, and upload bordereaux to internal systems.
- Identify and investigate anomalies, missing data, and potential contract breaches.
- Resolve data and mapping queries from third-party outsource partners.
- Manage ELTO processing and conduct end-to-end audit reviews.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with internal teams (Underwriting, Finance/Credit Control, Claims), third-party service providers, Coverholders, brokers, and TPAs.
- Work with Outwards Reinsurance to ensure accurate completion of the annual RI renewal process.
- Support Underwriters in monitoring binder performance.
- Highlight and escalate persistent data or performance issues.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly MI reports for internal reporting and committee papers.
- Provide training to third-party service providers and London team members as required.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in bordereaux management, oversight, and processing.
- Strong familiarity with Lloyd's regulatory framework, including binding authority contracts, Coverholder audits, and reporting standards.
- In-depth understanding of bordereaux types: premium, risk, claims, and paid.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing).
- Strong communication skills: able to engage effectively one-to-one and in small groups, keep stakeholders informed, and produce clear, well-structured documentation.
- Experience with data integration and mapping tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels internally and externally.
- Solid knowledge of Delegated Authorities and bordereaux practices, including Lloyd's, FCA/PRA, and other regulatory standards.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professional care in all activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in bordereaux management at senior analyst level.
- Strong knowledge of Lloyd's and Company Market practices, including experience with Lloyd's systems (ATLAS, DCOM, ECF2, IMR, Crystal).
- Familiarity with Watertrace systems (BDX & IQ Canvases) preferred.
- Educated to A-level standard; degree desirable.
- Relevant professional qualifications (eg, CII, LMMIT, LM1/LM2) or willingness to work towards these.
