Role Overview

As a Bartender, you will be at the heart of our customer experience, crafting delicious drinks and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is pivotal to East Coast Concepts's reputation for outstanding service and quality. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, personable, and ready to bring a touch of flair behind the bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and accurately.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy at the point of sale.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth operations during shifts.
• Stay updated on current drink trends, recipes, and promotions to advise customers effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous bartending experience within the catering & hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Relevant certifications such as a Personal Licence or Food Hygiene Certificate are advantageous but not mandatory.
