Cloud Engineer - Azure (Public Cloud Team)

Overview Join our Public Cloud team, responsible for supporting and evolving Azure Landing Zones across the organization. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineers to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure solutions. Your focus will be on automation, observability, and operational excellence in Microsoft Azure.

What You'll Do

Partner with the Cloud Engineering Team to design and deploy scalable, secure cloud-based solutions in Azure

Assess and enhance the current monitoring and logging framework across Azure environments

Design and implement centralized log management, observability strategies, and proactive alerting

Automate dashboards, alerting rules, and monitoring configurations for consistent operations

Develop and refine automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Bash

Create technical specifications, documentation, and user support guides

Respond to service desk inquiries and automate common customer requests

Be onsite at least 1 day per week at our Madrid office

Required Expertise

Deep knowledge of Azure core services: resource management, policies, logging, networking, security, storage, IAM, and PaaS offerings

Proven experience deploying and operating enterprise applications using Azure IaaS and PaaS

Hands-on experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, Git, Ansible, and Azure DevOps/GitLab

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international environment

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently

Experience providing L2 and L3 support in enterprise environments

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with Blueprint creation and governance in Azure

Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash

Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-prem systems

Additional language skills (eg, Spanish or German) are a plus
