We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, support financial transformation projects, and gain broad exposure across core accounting functions.
What You'll Be Doing:- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and financial statements.
- Reconciling and processing accruals and prepayments, identifying anomalies and working with Finance Business Partners to resolve them.
- Investigating budget variances and contributing to business solutions.
- Assisting in the development of insightful financial reports to improve cost control and decision-making.
- Playing a key role in transformation and improvement projects across the organisation.
- Reviewing and enhancing finance systems and processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
- Collaborating across teams to support effective communication and continuous improvement.
- A strong foundation in accounting principles, with experience in financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
