Location: 2-3 days onsite per week in Newcastle Upon Tyne, rest remote

IR35 Status: Inside

Duration: 6 month initial contract

Rate: £311pd

We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project.

• Develop custom software solutions: design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• Utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating and managing the team to perform effectively, making team decisions and contributing to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Design and implement innovative software solutions that meet client requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality standards and best practices; collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster a collaborative environment.
• Continuously improve software development processes and methodologies.

• Advanced proficiency in Node.js (required).
• Advanced proficiency in AWS DevOps & Development, GitLab CI/CD, and GitLab (recommended).
• Experience with modern frameworks and agile practices.
• Strong coding and code review skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to mentor junior developers.
