Account Executive - Up to £40,000 + Commission
(Hybrid - 4 Days per Week Onsite in London)
Our client, a rapidly growing Hire-Train-Deploy (HTD) consultancy, is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to focus on Defence sector clients. This role blends Account Management and Business Development, with full ownership of customer relationships, no handovers.
With a couple of Defence clients already onboard, the priority is to expand relationships and drive new business from a list of strategic Defence targets, offering HTD solutions that bridge critical skills gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow relationships with existing Defence sector customers
Develop new business from a list of high-priority Defence target accounts
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to account growth
Position and promote HTD solutions that meet clients' project demands
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
Act as the key point of contact for all client needs post-sale
Support wider Public Sector opportunities where applicable
Requirements:
1-3 years' experience in a client-facing sales or account management role
Exposure to (or strong interest in) Public Sector and/or Defence markets
Experience working for a Training Consultancy, or Hire-Train-Deploy (HTD) business is highly desirable
Comfortable prospecting, building pipelines, and managing complex sales cycles
Strong relationship management skills with a focus on long-term growth
SC Clearance desirable but not essential
